Dharmastikaya is the element with unique characteristic of helping in motion. It doesn't motivate anything to move but it is a medium of motion. It has no taste, smell, color or sound. It has no weight and it has no temperature. It is neither positive nor negative, it is neither soft nor rough.
Adharmastikaya has the unique characteristic to be helpful in steadiness. It is a medium of being study. It has no taste, smell, color or sound. It has no weight and it has no temperature. It is neither positive nor negative, it is neither soft nor rough.
Aakshastikaya - It has unique characteristic of providing space. It is medium of space. It has no taste, smell, color or sound. It has no weight and it has no temperature. It is neither positive nor negative, it is neither soft nor rough
Kaal - It is time factor. It has no taste, smell, color or sound. It has no weight and it has no temperature. It is neither positive nor negative, it is neither soft nor rough
Pudgalastikaya - It is the matter. It has mass and occupies space. It has power, It has five taste,five smell, five basic color or sound. It has weight and it has temperature. It is either positive or negative, it is either soft or rough.
Jeevastikaya - It is soul. Its unique feature is knowledge, vision and bliss. It also has power feature like Pudgal.
Jain Philosophy clearly declares that no new element can be created and no existing element can be destroyed. The basic elements defined by science are also compounds of Pudgala "Smallest unit of matter". Atom is also compound of pudgals. Pudgala has some unique characteristic which are not found in any other element. The fusion and fission seen is just the changing forms of these elements. [/list][/list]
